This is done on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports greater global knowledge sharing.
The journal does not charge a fee for editing, layout and publication of the contributions it receives. It adheres to the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), emphasizing open access, open copyright licenses and open archives. It is committed to unrestricted access to published works, which are available in the “archives” section.
Revista Historia y Patrimonio is defined as a publication in which the copyright holder grants rights of use to third parties through an open license (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 DEED). This allows free and immediate access to the articles and authorizes any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to the full texts, crawl them for indexing, transfer them to software or use them for any legal purpose.
